Project Objective(s)

  • To build a data warehouse of retail points of sale across several developing markets for the launch of a new global e-wallet product

Methodology

  • Worked with client and partner (a large global ITES company) to design the data collection scope and deliverable
  • Deployed field teams through network of regional partners across several countries with dedicated regional managers to collect data – currently generating over 1.5mn retail ‘listings’ every year
  • Deployed tablet-based data collection with automated data collection, geo-tagging, and improved quality control
  • Developed proprietary tool for optimising field force management – e.g. optimal routing, automated flags based on pre-defined criteria
  • Multi-level quality checks with third-party quality checking agency engaged

  • Data uploaded in customised template directly to client servers
